The Vermont Software Developers' Alliance is a trade association dedicated to fostering a healthy software industry in the state of Vermont. Since many technical interest groups already exist, we focus more on common business interests. We support and promote a thriving software community where members can share ideas, expertise, and strategies for success, bringing prosperity to all members and to the Vermont economy.

Improving Math & Science Education in VT

Improving math and science education is a critical priority for Vermont technology businesses. On Wednesday we will join forces with the Vermont BioSciences Alliance and the Vermont Technology Council to learn about innovative science, technology, engineering and math education initiatives in Vermont schools from education professionals.

They, in turn, want to hear from us as to what we need from Vermont's schools and how we can support the schools in meeting business and research needs. By the end of the meeting, we hope to create a joint task force, with members from each of the associations, that will take the ideas generated from our discussions and find ways of implementing them with schools around Vermont ...
